My daughter was born in 2012 via C-Section. It was under emergency circumstances, and it impacted me in ways I found impossible to recover from – or even talk about.

Guilt. Shame. Pain. Regret. Anxiety. Disconnection. Disembodiment. And equally, the deepest relief and gratitude that my baby was born alive.

I felt it ALL. Then, I learned to heal it.

Now I’m fulfilling a life purpose to help C-Section mammas do the same.

My programs gently guide women through an inward journey of discovery to illuminate, release and recover from the physical, emotional and mental trauma of giving birth surgically.

Soulful strategies for C-Section recoveries

Like most C-Section mothers, I received no guidance on how to recover from a major abdominal surgery. I felt broken, alone and overwhelmed by mixed emotions about my experience of giving birth.

In the years to come I struggled with chronic pain, a chronic infection, depression, anxiety and a complete loss of libido. When I realized that I was the only one who could heal my trauma, I embarked on a journey that led to the creation of these programs.

Combining my background in pilates, movement therapy, qigong, art therapy and other healing modalities, I worked through the impact of giving birth surgically on my body, soul and mind.

Based on my personal transformation, I then began offering workshops to mothers across Canada, and now offer programs world-wide through INNERDISCO.

Women who have C-Sections deserve to recovery fully, and completely. I hope my programs help you too.
